Acadiana Cooks Guest Chef Contest

Who wants to be an Executive Chef? Well… we can make those dreams come true for one night! It’s easy, go to cafesydniemae.com/foodies, submit what appetizer, entrée and dessert that you would serve your guests at Café Sydnie Mae and tell us about your culinary passion! Who knows, you just may be picked to be Café Sydnie Mae’s Executive Chef for one evening! Not only will you fulfill your dreams to be an executive chef, but you will also be instrumental in raising awareness and resources for the Community Fridge Project!

If chosen, you will meet with Café Sydnie Mae’s Executive Chef and CIA Graduate, Kim Nuzum to

· Test and scale your menu items for 100 guests.

· Share your vision with Chef Kim on how you want your menu items plated.

· Take pictures of your finished items for marketing purposes.

· Cost out your menu to develop food and labor costs.

· Source your raw ingredients using our Ben E Keith ordering platform

· Delegate prep and line execution duties with your kitchen brigade.

Finally, on YOUR night, after all of the preparation you will greet and mingle with your guests!
