Amelia Powell is a folk musician whose heartfelt songwriting, soulful vocals, and timeless sound connect deeply with listeners. Blending the traditional folk influences of her southwest Louisiana home with deep familial roots in Appalachia, Amelia brings a fresh, contemporary spirit to music grounded in warmth, authenticity, storytelling, and a deep excitement for life. Casey Courville hails from Lafayette, LA, and has been playing music for over decade. He boasts quite the eclectic set list crossing all genres of popular music. His unique spin on well known songs make you feel like you're hearing them for the first time.  

His vocal influences include soulful singers like Otis Redding and Percy Sledge, and folk/pop singers such as Tracy Chapman and Dave Matthews. As a child of the 90's he is also partial to top rock bands of the era, such as Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Collective Soul, and Weezer.

At Casey's acoustic show, you never know what you'll get next, but one thing is certain, he plays something for everyone.

Jill Butler is a chart topping jazz and blues musician with radio airplay in Top 50 across the globe. She combines soulful and sultry in a double threat combo of keyboard and vocal talent. She performs with musical legends across the region and has garnered Grammy consideration for her latest album. From Professor Longhair and Marcia Ball to Stevie Wonder and Diana Krall, she loves to bring joy, groove and Louisiana spice into every note! 

Guests at Cafe Sydnie Mae can expect from Ken and his son Jansen, Traditional Country Music from artists such as George Jones, George Strait, and Conway Twitty, mixed with Today’s new Country such as Zach Top and Riley Green. Also some of Ken’s national hits on Country Radio.

I play a selection of Jimmy Buffett, John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker and other alternative country songs, not often heard on the radio. I don’t use tracks, or music sheets. It’s old school, me and my guitar! Songs from the heart!!

Often referred to as a “joyologist” and a “breath of fresh air,” Ashley Orlando is a Baton Rouge-based jazz vocalist and ukulele artist known for her warm voice, vintage charm, and joyful stage presence. Blending jazz standards, swing, and French classics, she and her ukulele bring a fresh take to the timeless Great American Songbook. Guests can expect an elegant, relaxed evening of nostalgic melodies and feel-good songs that perfectly complement a night out.

Warren Williams plays a variety of Country, Rock, Soul, and pop. You’ll hear the likes of: George Strait, Fleetwood Mac, Adele, Bill withers, and some radio pop hits with Warrens own acoustic style. 

Sharona Thomas is a dynamic and soulful vocalist whose powerful voice and infectious energy uplift any room rendering Soul, R&B, Blues & beyond covering such artists as Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, just to name a few.

Amis du Teche (“Friends of the Teche”) is a vibrant Cajun band based in Lafayette, Louisiana, rooted in lifelong friendships formed along the historic Bayou Teche in Breaux Bridge. Performing traditional and original material in Cajun French, their mother language, the band delivers high-energy, dance-driven shows anchored by fiddle, guitar, bass, drums and rich vocal harmonies, combining deep cultural authenticity with polished, engaging stage presence. Their self-titled album (released late 2023) showcases this balance of tradition and originality, and their growing résumé includes appearances at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, French Quarter Festival, SXSW, Festival Acadiens et Créoles, Festival International, Congrès Mondial Acadien in Nova Scotia, and tours throughout Canada and the U.S. as well as official members of Louisiana Tourism’s Music Ambassador Program. Led by award-winning fiddler and vocalist Adeline Miller (2024 Female Cajun Vocalist of the Year) and featuring Cathryn Hanks, Ethan Moody, Cameron Dupuy, and brother to Adeline- Robert Miller who are all standout young tradition-bearers steeped in Cajun and Louisiana roots music.
